Description: This flag piece, made with Pakistani textiles, and embroidered lace, represents the immigrant experience - with the United States provided a foundation to Pakistani families, and those families bringing the beauty of their culture to America, yet this fusion can often be challenging and conflicting, so the use of dark colors are meant to represent this heaviness, despite the obvious and innate beauty.
